The Taken mods are only available from the two secret chests in the Last Wish raid. (Image credit: Bungie) How to find Taken mods The Dreaming City remains one of Destiny 2's most gorgeous locations, and where you'll find the Last Wish Raid and its anti-Taken mods. It's a flat chunk of free damage with no downside, which is probably why Bungie didn't make any more after the Taken version. It grants a ten percent damage buff versus the seven percent from the Minor/Major/Boss spec mods, but the major advantage is that the buff applies to every enemy of that race. Interestingly, the Spec mod does not give an enormous damage boost, but still proves very useful. The next most important mod is Barrier, because a flat 20 percent incoming damage reduction makes a world of difference in high-level encounters. It's also worth noting how easy it is to build around having your grenade up regularly using weapons with the Demolitionist perk. Free Heavy ammo from grenade kills is insane, given how thirsty for Heavy you tend to be in hard content. It’s easy to see which are most enticing. Spec (Taken Only): Increased damage vs Taken enemies. Repurposing: Destroying a shield refreshes your grenade. Barrier: Receiving damage gives a 20 percent reduction in damage for 10 seconds. Invigoration: Defeating a challenging enemy refreshes your class ability. Armaments: Defeating an enemy with a grenade grants Heavy ammo.

So I started to look around for tutorials and guides and fixes to start my journey in the worlds of mods.Īnd boyyyy was it hard. I used other vanilla NPCs or followers made by other modders (you are awesome, BTW), but I knew they weren’t 100% my folk as I imagined them, and since they’ve been with me for so long that I now considered them a part of my family, I just had to do them myself. When I went back to play Skyrim in my current Fantasy obsession (aka trying to rewrite my first novels and make them better) I knew I had to recreate my characters as followers in the game.
